Friends and lovers. Isn’t that what everybody wants? We were already friends. Had an easy relationship with 25yrs of shared memories. How hard would it be to reach out and take his hand?
Excerpt from Kissing Adrien

The beauty of Paris, France was the perfect location for this sweet love story. It was easy to get swept away in the romance of Paris and its simplistic way of life. Siri L. Mitchell did a wonderful job of describing the daily life of a Parisian. I really felt as if I could see the Arc de Triumph, taste the raspberry macaroons, and smell the warm baguettes.

Kissing Adrien was a very enjoyable story about matters of the heart. Claire a 29 year old French American, had her own perfect life all planned out. A life that included, marrying a pastor, a job as an accountant, and owning a home. However she was missing out on the joie de vivre. Joy of living!

Adrien, a childhood friend, lived in Paris. He had his share of non-committed loves but knew he wanted more. Finding each other together again, amidst an inheritance collection in Paris, brought to life the affection that both already had for each other. The memories of their shared vacations as children, linked with a heart to serve God, laid a foundation to cultivate a relationship. The question is, can Claire risk leaving her cookie cutter life in Seattle for true love?
