By Linda Windsor

When prissy Corinne’s first glance of Mark is of him climbing out of the back end of a truck full of pigs, I knew I’d gotten my hands on something special. Linda Windsor writers Fiesta Moon with a deft touch for humor tied together with grim suspense.

The crime isn’t light. A child is missing. Superstition runs rampant. Cultural differences are deep and Mark’s is a poor hand to have at the wheel.

Corinne is disgusted with the choice of managers for the renovation of the majestic hacienda her orphanage wants to convert to sleeping quarters. Mark solves all his problems with women by flirting with them, which only makes Corinne more contemptuous. And then, when his flirting lights a spark in her, her contempt is doubled because she feel it for Mark and herself, but even with all that contempt, she’s still drawn to Mark.

Mark is one DUI away from a jail term. Corinne has buried all her dreams to tend children in need. Evil spirits haunt the hacienda and there seems to be a curse on the renovations.

Can Mark get his act together in time to save the hacienda? Can Corinne ever trust Mark, especially when he’s proved himself unworthy of trust time and again? Will another child be lost to the evil that surrounds the building project? And who, in a town full of suspicious characters, would resort to murder to stop the hacienda from being used to do God’s work?
